About United for America 250

United for America 250 is a grassroots, non-political initiative created to inspire national pride, unity, and shared responsibility as the United States approaches its 250th birthday in 2026.

Our work is inspired by the enduring spirit of the Marquis de Lafayette, a young idealist who crossed an ocean to stand for liberty, unity, and the belief that people are stronger together. Lafayette carried the torch of freedom in America’s earliest days, and today, we seek to carry that same torch forward by reminding Americans of what unites us.

We believe the American story is a powerful testament to courage, freedom, and hope. One that deserves to be celebrated today and entrusted to tomorrow. Our country was built on these principles  and it continues to thrive when its people come together with respect for one another and love for our nation.

United for America 250 encourages Americans of all ages to publicly affirm their appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy and the values that bind us together. Through shared traditions, such as learning the words of our National Anthem, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, and gathering in community spaces.  We strengthen the sense of unity that defines us as one people.

This initiative is not about politics. It is about pride. It is about remembering that we live in the greatest country in the world and recognizing that America succeeds when we stand together. Americans do not want to fail, and united, we will not.
